yeah, i get it. i’m not like most girls. i’m myself around you. i don’t need to flirt with you every minute to try to get your attention. you actually know me. i’ve actually been there for you when you needed me to listen to your problems. i was always there to tell you i care. and maybe that’s what scares you? i actually care about you, even when you think no one does.
everyone has a best friend they can go to, no matter what situation their in. you talk about the dumbest things, laugh over absolutely nothing, fight over stupid shit, and then smile and crack up about it seconds later. you understand each other better than any other person, sometimes even better than their significant other. usually its someone of the opposite sex, your best friend. love them with your whole heart, because chances are you’re their best friend as well. you are. and they love you too, with all their heart. whenever something big happens, you’re the first person they think of, and vice versa. im currently at a loss for words trying to describe my best friend. the words are all jumbled up in my head and i cant think straight. the love i have for him, no one will understand. and no, its not a “hey i really like you and i want a relationship with you” kinda love, its the kind of love you have for your best friend, the kind of love that cannot be explained.
people tend fall in love the same way they get sick. without wanting to, without believing in it, and against their will. and without being able to defend themselves. and then they lose love exactly the same way.
